I tend to agree with you.
That Doran said, "Darkstar is the most dangerous man in Dorne" could just mean that he could wreak havoc. Maybe bring war before Dorne is ready.
That GRRM wrote those words, though, could be foreshadowing.
The question is: If Aegon VI is still alive, who is the most likely candidate?
Right now, my crackpot theory is that it's Darkstar.
And woe to his foes when the Sword of the Morning brings forth the Dawn.

It still could've been. Didn't the comment precede him cutting off part of Myrcella's face in an attempt to throw the Martells into a conflict with the Lannisters?
I also question the age. I think Darkstar, the way he's written, may be older then the 15 or 16 that it's hypothesized that Aegon would be at this point in the series.

On another note i was confused when they first cast dinklage as Tyrion, due to his description in the book i was looking more for a cross between smeagel and hunchback of notre dame. Now i cant picture anyone else in this role. He is Tyrion.

I see that others have corrected the statement above. The description of Tyrion from Jon I in ASOIAF: Game of Thrones is (word for word):
"All that the Gods had given Jamie and Cersei, they had denied Tyrion. He was a dwarf, half his brother's height, struggling to keep pace on stunted legs. His head was too large for his body, with a brute's squashed in face beneath a swollen shelf of brow. One green eye and one black one peered out from under a lank fall of hair so blonde it seemed white. Jon watched him with fascination."
He does not have purple "Targaryen" eyes as some have posted in this thread, and his hair is definitely blonde.

Also regarding the whole Tyrion isn't Tywin's kid because of rape or an affair bit...
It's pretty well noted that Tywin Lannister was absolutely in love with his wife (note references to the only times he's ever smiled and the comments by others that when Joanna died so did his happiness). And that she apparently returned the sentiment. Not just liked each other or had mutual respect in an arranged marriage sort of way, but was legitimately in love.
Knowing that I find it very, very hard to believe that Tywin wouldn't have wiped a motherfricker off the face of Westeros if he found out either of the two occurred. King or not. And given that they were probably very intouch with each other's feelings, I doubt Joanna could've hidden something like either of those scenarios from Tywin.

Who loved Tywin enough to go to war with the Targaryens on his behalf? He was certainly a capable man but not the sort to inspire that sort of loyalty. He would have been crushed.

Tywin was a pretty sly guy. I wouldn't have put it past him to have the king put down "silently" to avoid out and out war but still exact his revenge. I just have a hard time believing that he would've sulked away to Casterly Rock without a peep.

True. Apparently the Faceless Men are pretty near unstoppable. Their prices are steep but I still don't see why they aren't used more often.

Except in the North, it rarely seems to be about love in these situations. It's usually about fear. Who did the other lords fear more, the Targs or Tywin? Probably the Targs, but Tywin was a motherfricker to be afraid of too.

Some popular ones I've seen/read:
- That he's guarding Jeyne Westerling (Stark) even though the show could negate that theory by her not existing there.
- Possibly the Hooded Man in Winterfell that Theon encounters.
- Possibly going to meet Sansa and Littlefinger at Lord Nestor's feast.
I think it's the last option, even though the bit about Jeyne is one I hadn't read before today and think it's interesting enough (there's an implication that she is preggers with Lil Robb Stark). I don't think he's done yet though.

I think Brynden will show up in the North somewhere, especially after it comes out that there are still Starks (Catelyn's kids no less) to support. I think it will be very easy for him to garner the support needed to overthrow that weak arse Frey from Riverrun. He could also go to the Eyrie to help Sansa and/or Little Robert.

I think the Blackfish could be part of the convergence of major characters that will soon happen in the Riverlands. I have nothing to go on, except that it works geographically.
We have Jaime, Brienne, and Lady Stoneheart set to rendezvous. Why not have the Blackfish "hang out" with them?
Here is the crackpipe theory:
Well, it turns out the Catelyn Stark swore a vow to Brienne in ACOK. The vow was to allow Brienne to obtain her revenge against Stannis when Brienne was ready to leave her service.
Maybe Brienne uses this vow as a means to save Jamie from the noose. She will need the help.
I doubt the Blackfish would go with them. (Although I hope he does.) But I could see him staying with the Brotherhood to cause trouble in the Riverlands.
