Olenna Tyrell (possibly using Margaery) in a plot with littlefinger
What was Littlefinger's involvement?
The timing of his rescue of Sansa does seem to indicate some prior knowledge but is that it?

Sansa being used as a carrier
This seemed like a bitch move to get her involved like this. (Some insurance for Baelish should Sansa ever turn on him I guess)

too bad he's not an LSU fan, then he would have a character described as:
"Ser Markis of House Rusell was a monster of a man. He had the coloring of a man whose ancestry could be traced to the Summer Islands which is likely where his House Sigil orignated as well. His Shield bore a grey hairless mammoth set on a crimson background, even though he had been fostered in the Death Valley of Dorn under the tutelage of Lord Les the Stutterer.
Ser Markis stood taller than all but the Mountain that Rides, but a more talented knight, you could never find. However, it was the knowledge of his own talent that led to his eventual downfall. After winning many lower tourneys his pride and fame became a poison to his work ethic and sense. He squandered all of his winnings on helms glistening with diamonds and clothing that would make even Ser Loras Tyrell blush. When his downfall started he turned to the Purple Milk of the Poppy to ease his struggles... which had the effect that one might expect.
After years of obscurity Ser Markis is attempting to return to the Tourney Circuit. However, with his current age and a belly that would make Ser Manderly blush, one must wonder if he'll ever have another chance at greatness..."

He completely plotted it. He got Joffrey in with the jousting dwarves to frame Tyrion when he knew he'd send Tyrion into rage mode. He had Sansa unknowingly sneak in the poison, that Olenna Tyrell then took from her. Littlefinger was the mastermind behind the operation.

Seriously. I don't see any reason why Olenna or Margeary couldn't have snuck in the poison rather than drag Sansa into it. Littlefinger used her in order to get more leverage off of her in case she ever decides to betray him.

I was thinking the hairnet came from Lady olenna but it was Dontos, so yeah, LF was conspiring with the Tyrell's all along.

I agree. The whole hairnet plan seems totally unnecessary other that just to rope Sansa into it for future insurance against her ratting them out.
No reason QoT or Marg couldnt have just dropped in a little poison from their pocket

I can't remember, could Jory have escaped?
Jaime killed Jory in Kings landing when he met Ned in the streets. This was when Ned broke his leg. Jory was awesome. I wish he could have lived.

I can give a couple:
1) it gives QoT a scapegoat in case she needs one-
"I saw the Stark girl playing with that awful hairnet...especially the beads, I think"
2) it further points at Tyrion - if it ever needs to be proven- if his lady wife were in on it
And most important, ensures Sansa leaves with LF, trusting him or not.

Yeah, LF has all of his bases covered and wants to keep Sansa in check. He could always use that as a way to blackmail her if she doesn't do what he wants.

Honestly, I don't think it's that strong of blackmail. Everyone in the Seven Kingdoms thinks that she and Tyrion plotted it together and are on the run together to god knows where. Plus the Lannisters are about to fall. To where no one is going to give a damn.
Posted on 5/7/13 at 7:19 pm to OMLandshark
With the exception of Cersei, I don't think any of the living Lannisters that could actually try to take action against Sansa even care. Jamie was so apathetic about the whole thing he was ready to (or did?) bang Cersei on their son's tomb or whatever and Tyrion couldn't care less about his nephew.
