Looks like their Friday Night package will match up with enhanced pre-game shows and Champions Square.

It begins.

Mate explain what this means. Cowboy Mouth and their annoying barefoot drummer / singer will be bellowing their tired catalogue over my pregame macking on my date prior to tip more often ?

I'll ask.

Semi-threadjack... requests?

I'll send in the reasonable ones and the ones I like.

My guess is Wednesday at the Square fare. Pure guess.

Rebirth Brass Band
the funky Meters
George Porter Jr and His Running Partners
Soul Rebels
Juvenile
Galactic
Mystikal

These would be good. Don't forget that Dumpstaphunk will be the in-house band this year like Irvin Mayfield was last season.

This will be cool as long is it doesn't sound like complete arsehole like it did last year.

I do my best when on a computer, but from the phone it's too much of a pain when it's an email or some non-link (or a voice conversation).

The TP usually rehashes team communications or throws them up verbatim. Hornets247 does this from time to time, as well.

When this happens, I have mercy on myself and my patience for the clunky copy-paste on mobile devices.

I was just highlighting this aspect of what would soon be public but perhaps overlooked (See TP title vs Hornets subtitle below), just giving a little taste.

I'm actually surprised no one else posted the link.

HORNETS RELEASE PARTIAL TICKET PLANS FOR 2012-13 SEASON

Packages include new Friday Night plan built around pre-game concert series at Champions Square

August 14, 2012

The New Orleans Hornets announced today that partial plans for the 2012-13 season are now on sale. Partial plans include two-half season and three 12-game plans, including a new ‘Friday Night’ plan designed to give fans the opportunity to tip off the weekend with the excitement of an enhanced pre-game party at Champions Square followed by a Hornets game.

“Our partial plans provide flexibility and convenience for our fans to experience the excitement of Hornets games at the arena with additional package benefits,” said Hornets Sr. Vice President of Sales Mike Stanfield. “In addition to the Superstar and Contender Packages, we have a new, unique Friday Night Package that will give fans the opportunity to, not only enjoy a Hornets game to start the weekend, but also start off the weekend with a party featuring live music and great food and drink specials at Champions Square.”

Fans can select either the Superstar or Contender Package which includes some of the top teams in the Eastern and Western Conferences, or the Friday Night Package which includes premier opponents on 12 of the Hornets’ 13 Friday-night home games.

Each plan includes an account executive that will provide service and ensure a personalized Hornets experience for each plan holder. Partial plan holders will also have priority in purchasing playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Partial plans start as low as $16 per seat per game. Fans can reserve their plan by placing their initial payment online at Hornets.com or by calling 504-525-HOOP.

When possible, links, etc. should be provided. Dude's right to question, ask, challenge, and was super cool about it.

I do appreciate the allowance to post the link in a reasonable amount of time.

It's a good day.

I gotta tell you, and I know I sound like a broken record, but I think Champions Square is just soooo important. This move is not only big for the Hornets, but big for CS and everything it will affect in the end.

I'll write something on it one day.

This is just a little step, but it's a necessary one in make CS a year-round destination . . . then every night.

Dudes, I'm WAY more pumped about this than just about anything besides the lottery and the ownership turducken we just got (lease, upgrades, etc.). Seriously.

Yeah, it's nerdy, sue me.

I'm lazy and I actually like to read the articles that's associated with the news. To be able to click a link to the article without having to dig for it through various media outlets is invaluable... at least to me.

I think putting a Dave and Busters or something similar at Champions square would help. Maybe one of those and a 40/40 club. So we could have two vastly different sports bars right there.
