I'm sure this has been discussed before. But with the season around the corner let's talk about it.
My dad just recently got a new neighbor. Along that house were boxwood hedges. The new neighbor didn't want them so my dad went dig them up with the tractor. He decided he wanted to put them in the dove field for blinds. So around each pecan tree that we hunt under we planted the hedges in a half circle with a ditch to our back. My dad calls me this morning to tell me that those motherfrickers ate up all our fricking blinds! I thought he was talking about bugs so I said we could just spray them with some ambush. He said that won't keep the fricking deer away! My response was holy shite I'm going buy some hedges to put by my deer stand. Any of you Ever tried this or heard of it? Any of you want to get rid of your hedges?
We usually plant rye grass and soybeans, but it's been really really wet down here this year.
