I don't know if I've taken anyone's death harder than the red viper's. Why the frick couldn't they let this bad arse live?

Fastest I've ever read a book that size. Gonna start Feast tomorrow. I have lowered expectations due to other reader threads.

Re-reading it now. Just got past the RW. Still hard to read. Such an awesome twist.

Feast will be a chore your first time through, on the second read you will realize that it is indeed a great book

I need to go back and re-read it myself before the next season of GoT.

I was so angry when the Red Wedding happened that if I wasn't reading it on an eReader it would've been tossed across the room. Then Arya getting the axe to the back of the head made me flip forward in the book to make sure she had another chapter. Otherwise I probably would've put it down at that point.

It makes me fear for other characters in the books that haven't come out yet.

I did the same thing the first time through

I think most of the deaths are necessary in some way.

My a-hole roommate and another poster here spoiled the Red Wedding for me, so I knew that was coming, but I also page flipped to make sure Arya had another chapter. She's probably my favorite character.

Red Viper just had this mystique about him, and he was becoming a favorite character of mine. He came to king's landing for no other reason than to kill. I assumed before I read the the fight scene that Tyrion lived most likely through the red viper winning.

I really was hoping Jon Snow would take Stannis's offer.

I am glad they distinguished in the books between wights and the Others. I honestly thought they were one in the same until that point. Can't wait to see the TV show's rendition of the entire wildling seige/stannis rescue. I would imagine that's going to be in season 4 though.

Yeah, I think people are going to flip their shite at that. Gonna be awesome. I just finished DWD and was blown away. Cannot wait until Winds of Winter comes out.

TN Bhoy spoiled the fact that Robb and Cat would die (frick that guy), but I still didn't know how. However, as soon as the wolf started going crazy I knew some shite would go down. Again, frick YOU TN Bhoy.

I'm curious where the hell they'll split it. All the good stuff seems to be in the second half of the book.

I'm almost positive that I've read that they'll close Season 3 with the Red Wedding (either that or in the episode before the last). I can't remember where I read it though.

I wouldn't be shocked if they move some storylines around for the sake of balance.

I will also like to see Vargo Hoat on the screen. The way Martin writes him I laugh every time I read him speaking.

You serious Clark?

Because if you have seen it, you wouldn't be able to not hear Vargo any other way after I said that
