Trindon Update

FYI: Listening to 610 Houston and they're mentioning Trindon saying how he's much improved and catching just about everything (including punts), and obviously is still lightning fast. It's a real competition in training camp as to who will be returning punts and WR is up for grabs. Who knows, maybe we'll see Trindon returning punts this year! :GoTexans:

Sproles comes to mind. They seem to be about the same size and weight I would guess.

Sproles is an inch or so taller and 20 lbs. heavier.

Sproles is way shiftier and stronger than Trindon.

Trindon cannot take a hit. He'd need to gain some weight if he wanted to see the field in any other position other then a returner.

Trindon: 5' 4" 162 lbs
Darren: 5' 6" 190 lbs
This according to Wikipedia, if the numbers are to be believed.

the kickoff changes are going to hurt him
with so may touchbacks, KR is no where near as important

I hope he can make the team he was always one of my favorite tigers

Good for him, easily one of the top 3 Tigers to ever put on the jersey.

I'm not so sure about that. With the touchback coming out to the 25, we might see kicking teams try to kick the ball just short of the goal line to force a return. Remember, the kicking team will be 5 yards closer as well, and could expect to have better return coverage.
It'll be interesting, but I wouldn't assume just yet that there will be that many fewer kick off returns.

Anyone else hear on 790 Wade Phillips considering using him to replace Mario Williams?
