Saw the Wrights steak cut bacon at Walmart today and picked up a pack of the hickory smoked. The 20 ounce pack is cut into six equal slices of about 5/8" thick. Trying to decide whether to bake it or fry it in cast iron. Leaning toward cast iron skillet.

I heard the commercial for the first time today on WWL.

I'm gonna try it on a BLT first. Probably a triple decker.

Cast iron for sure. It'll cook more even that way.

I cooked some on the smoker yesterday. I'll try to figure out how to post a picture when I get home later. It was absolutely delicious but more than a few bites and you start worrying about heart disease lol.

Cooked it in a cast iron skillet between low and mediun heat for around thirty minutes to make sure it was cooked throughout. Twenty five minutes would have been better as it came out too crispy.
