re: Pulled pork on the instant pot - BoredOne
I want to say it was close to 5. I still had to cut it in half to fit, but since it was for pulled pork, presentation wasn't exactly a consideration. Oh, I also added a half cup of water to get the steam going. ...

re: Pulled pork on the instant pot - BoredOne
That was the first thing we made in it. I just used the usual rub, browned it for a few minutes and then threw it in the pot for 60 minutes. It was done after that but not super tender, so I added another 30 minutes and it was perfect. ...

re: WFDT? - BoredOne
Made some pulled pork in the new instant pot that came today. I was skeptical about it but I think it's one random appliance we'll actually use. ...

re: Waterfront Grill in Monroe, L.A. anyone here familiar? - BoredOne
I don't think I've ever drank anything other than beer there so not sure about cocktails. The grilled catfish and grilled shrimp are both good and a friend of mine says the pork chop is amazing, never had it myself though. ...

re: Defeat the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice expansion - Louisiana SB 187 - BoredOne
Jesus dude, you can call yourself the high holy imperial emperor of all things ocular if you feel the urge. That's how little I give a shite about titles of any kind. ...

re: Defeat the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice expansion - Louisiana SB 187 - BoredOne
At this point, everyone has figured out that you're butthurt over other medical professionals getting to call themselves doctor (with a doctorate level degree) and God forbid, wearing a white coat. Give up this false pretense of protecting the patients from themselves. Oh, and we already know you ar...

re: Toyota 4 Runner - BoredOne
Thanks for the advice. I still have the original tires that were on it when I bought it, Dunlop I'm pretty sure. I had already planned on a different brand when it comes time to replace them, but it's good to have an idea about what to get. ...

re: Toyota 4 Runner - BoredOne
I have a 2014 and love it. It can be a little difficult to drive in high wind and rain but it's not an everyday issue. And the poster that said the navigation system isn't that great is right, I still use my Garmin whenever I'm going somewhere Im completely unfamiliar with. ...

re: Peanut Butter Ice Cream - BoredOne
I know this isn't purely peanut butter flavored, but I recently fell victim to the talenti gelato peanut butter cup flavor. It's chocolate based but has a lot of peanut butter mixed in with tiny peanut butter cups. Highly addictive. ...

In the past 5 pages of this thread, I've seen you type: I'm Not In Primary Care A minimum of 5 times. It's not cute. It's not funny. And I think we've all received the memo at this point. Stop acting like a douche, express an informed opinion, and maybe people will take you a bit more seri...

re: WFDT - BoredOne
Good looking dumplings, that reminds me to dig out my recipe for that and put it back in the rotation. Had a ribeye that came out a little more done than I would've liked (still tasty) and a few Parish beers now that we have access here. ...

re: Did You Ever Shell Peas Growing Up? - BoredOne
I can't count the hours spent shelling peas and cutting corn off the cob. At some point, the family as a group bought a pea sheller and that pretty much ended that. But the damn corn...cutting it off the cob with the old wooden thing that you put over the bowl in the sink. That wasn't the bad part b...
