I just wore through my last pair of Predators (the absolutes), and I'm looking for a new cleat. The new Predator LZ feels cheaper because they moved to a synthetic leather, but they are considerably lighter than past ones. The Total 90 IV Lasers are made of nice leather, and are a bit heavier. Then of course the CTRs are coming out in a few days. Anyone have any good advice? I play competitively in adult U30 leagues, and play a wide array of positions. In other words, no F50s or Mercurials.

I'm a fan of AdiPures myself. I used to be a Predator guy until Adidas killed them

Well you can't go wrong with Adidas Copa Mudials.

CTRs are the best cleats I've ever owned.

Just saying. I have great touch and they are comfortable as hell. Granted I put my own inserts in, but that's because I have messed up feet. They have held up well. You can always go with Copa Mundials, though, as those are always solid boots.

I got these at Academy about 5 months ago. I love them and they are cheap, I think I paid $45 for them vs. my old cleats I always had (Copa's) for $99

There is a big difference in quality between 50 dollar shoes and 100 dollar shoes.

Nike Tiempo Legend IV. Most comfortable/lightest shoe I have worn.

I JUST bought these about a two weeks ago and they are awesome. I had the world cup superflys (which i loved) before that so it was a pretty big difference in weight and how the ball feels at your feet but I have been very happy with them.

I've had everything from $200 on down to $50. While the $200 ones are obviously better, its really not worth spending all of that extra money. If I were you I'd go with the $100 ones. Seems to be the best quality to price ratio, I've found.

I'm 33 now and play for fun. I retired my copas and world cups 7 years ago. I do like the new boots though. Much lighter feel.

I get pretty serious about playing soccer. I just have to say that the difference in touch between a 50 dollar pair (which won't be real leather) and a 100 dollar pair (which will) is pretty significant.

The only thing I care about. Have to get the real leather.

I'm down between a pair of T90s and F50 AdiZeros. What should I go with?

Try both on. My foot is too wide for the AdiZeros, and I injure my feet a lot so the T90s protect them better because they are a little more solid/sturdy, imo.

Call me crazy, but I've always been a Puma guy. I like to live off of the beaten path.

My favorite cleat was always the Lotto Zhero. They were like Vapors minus the blisters.

It shouldn't matter what boots you put on if you have enough skill. Just saying, real leather is great and feels great, but if your good, your good
