What happens if it rains and you have a golfnow tee time? When i reserved the time it said pay at the course but if you don't make it you get charged the amount on your credit card you entered on golfnow when reserving the time. So if it rains what will happen?

Call the clubhouse. They might make you pay but they should still give you a rain check.

From the golfnow website:
quote:
What is your weather policy? If your greens fees are due at the golf course please complete the Reservation Change form and we will seek approval from the golf course in order to cancel your tee time. If approval is not given by the golf course your reservation will stand. If you paid 100 % online we will only cancel your reservation if the golf course is closed due to weather on the day of play.

So, just to understand correctly. If it rains I fill out a reservation change form online? Then they will seek approval from the course?

Yep, I get calls from them all the time!

Or you can speak to an operator with golfnow and they'll remove the charge from your card #.
They only do this a couple of times though as a courtesy. They'll call the course to see if it is raining, and if it is they take the charge off.

Got rained out a couple months ago and called Golfnow. Operator called the golf course and the clubhouse told him the course was officially closed due to rain. They refunded me within a couple days but was told that the course cannot simply give a rain check without going through GolfNow. Have not tried the Reservation Change Form. Anyone had any luck with these forms?
