Or will it end?

I enjoyed Prometheus, but even they had to shoehorn a prequel angle in there.

Built in branding = Lower marketing costs and risk for a hundred million dollar investment. I think the more production costs rise the safer movie making will become.

It better not end before Channing Tatum portrays Rhett Butler.

It was in the alien universe but the alien at the end just felt like "oh yeah this is a prequel."

Everything that is good in the movie has nothing to do with the alien stuff. The only connection to the alien films should've been the engineers and that's it

I like reboots. Batman was a reboot.

Batman is a comic book hero. There are thousands of stories and interpretations of the character...with that in mind why did Sony have to make the same spiderman movie they made 10 years ago? And FTR reboots aren't all bad (bond and batman)

It's remakes like the thing, Conan the barbarian, etc...that are just awful and have no place in cinema

If you're going to remake a movie why not take a bad movie with potential (waterworld) and remake it the right way. I get Hollywood is a business but Jesus, is there any integrity

Lol I can't disagree with this. I was pretty disappointed in the new spiderman and I just don't see how it's that different or any better than the "old" one from 10yrs ago.
