I just found a pop up ad that led me to the BeIn Sports website. I tried every provider in my area and all of them say "unavailable" so far but all link e-mails to providers to request they carry it.

Can't hurt if anyone's interested:

I've already put in multiple requests to DirecTV.

I just called my provider (Time Warner) and they told me that they will have the channel but details won't be published until sometime after August 1st.

Also heard from a friend that Comcast in NY is saying the same thing.

Unless they're just trying to milk the last month's bill before people switch (certainly possible) that's good news for other providers as TWC was more in the "doubtful" category of all the speculation I've read even though their regular soccer lineup is better than anyones for Europe.

Yes, that's what they said when my friend called today but that is in NY, which I should have specified, as it could be regional.

Are they going to have an online option?

Great news. Let's just hope with all of their coverage (plus a big named commentator in Phil Schoen attached) that their launch will be widespread and successful.

Has anybody had a chance to talk to Cox about bein? I don't know why but I feel optimistic about it.

I've heard that they will and none of what they carry will be on ESPN3. However, I've only heard speculation about how it will work as far as subscriptions. Where Al-Jazeera has had it previously, the quality was excellent.

You should just call the number from the BeIn webpage for Comcast and hassle them!

That makes one of us haha I feel like cox hates soccer, maybe that's just bc they don't carry goltvHD and put deportes in a separate sports pack. :fingerscrossed:

Used to watch their news some online and was very impressed with the quality. hopefully it's a decent price.

I'm worried the cable bill would eventually go up.

Bump. Just saw this channel on my directTV guide. Channel 620, golTV has moved to 627. But the guide just says beIN Sports for all time slots. Anyone have any new news?

ETA: loos like it was added about 45 minutes ago so guess it hasn't caught up just yet
