I have never been a penn st fan really with any sport at all and never followed them much other than just hearing scores. Of course I knew who joepa was but until this horrible incident came up had never heard of Sandusky and he is truly an animal. I say this cause I think joepa truly screwed this one up along with some of the other people evolved and I don't have a clue what any of them were thinking but it was wrong. THe true animal involve with this is Sandusky. The reason I believe penn st shouldn't face NCAA violations is honestly the schools name will forever be tarnished and also all of the people involved are gone. Also there has never been any evidence that came forward that any of the student athletes had a clue any thing was going on. In all other incidents where schools have faced NCAA violations the athletes were involved. And last but not least is everybody is saying that part of the problem was that joepa had to much power over the university, but now the school could be fixing to face huge fines for something only joepa and a few other people that allowed him to have that amount of power were involved in covering up. Sorry for being so long winded but it's a terrible incident and this idea that we can make up for the terrible acts of this man by punishing everybody who knew him is nuts. There is not enough that civilization can do to make it up to all of these kids maybe penn st can over to give scholarships to all victims that are out now, or start giving donations to some abused children foundation. All I know there isn't a quick fix and everybody needs to quit looking for one

They are gone because they were hanging around while a guy was add raping little boys. Of course they're gone holy shite. The University hired football coaches and the face of the university and football team was ok with letting a man work on campus for many years after fricking little boys.

What does them already being punished have to do with the NCAA adding more sanctions? They've been punished because what they did was UNBELIEVABLY bad.

Innocent people get punished when things like this happen. It's always been like that and always will. It sucks. But PSU shouldn't be playing football.

The frick? Jesus Christ LSU fans sucks. To the other LSU fan I don't "want this" because I'm an Alabama fan.

It's just life. If your boss gets caught smuggling drugs or money or raping little boys and it's found out that many higher up people try to cover it up your most likely gonna lose your job when the shite hits the fan.

Especially in this context where a culture was created by the football program that allowed a child rapist to act with impunity. The whole culture needs to be destroyed. Apparently, the students supporting Joe Pa don't get it yet. They should shut themselves down for a year to show the world that they "get it" now. Frick those students supporting Joe Pa.

Penn St. University is bigger than Joe Paterno

Penn St. University is bigger than Jerry Sandusky

It's bigger than the AD, the president and the rest of the people guilty of this crime.

Penn St. University must be punished to keep it from hiring people like this again.

Yeah, but why make it that way if it doesn't have to be that way? Is anyone currently involved in the program known to have covered up the crime? Do you have any names?

So every time a dirty coach leaves a program, the program should avoid NCAA penalties for the dirty coach's actions on behalf of the program because the coach is now gone? Prayers sent.

Why don't we talk about this situation? Do you have any names of people currently in the football program who deserve to be punished?
