Adam Scott Penalty Thread

With all the golfers on here, this should merit its own thread separate from the Open thread.
I think Scott should have called the penalty on himself.
The ball doesn't move for 5 minutes while he walks up there and then moves 7 seconds after his practice swing means he made it move. Penalty.

My deal was the rules official. I feel like Scott dictated the ruling.

No penalty. The rule they showed on the screen I believe was the new rule for on the greens only. You can address the ball and it move and as long as you believe you did not make it move, no penalty. The rule for through the fairway is if you move the ball, or if the ball moved after you addressed it. He didnt address it and he didnt make it move as it would have moved sooner than it did.

He NEVER addressed the ball! Took three practice swings about a foot from the ball and it moved 10 seconds afterward. No penalty bc he never grounded the club behind the ball. Nothing to talk about here
