Pretty much. As much as I love Magnolia, and it was one of those life-changing films for me, it has a lot of issues.

Haven't seen Hard Eight. Actually never heard of it. Will check it out this week.

To add to my original post, all of his films are great but Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood are masterpieces.

There Will Be Blood is my favorite movie of all time. Daniel Plainview is my ideal of a great businessman. I have seen that movie about 10 times by now.

Boogie Nights was decent. I have no desire to see the rest of the movies mentioned.
