From a Georgia writer.
I searched didn't see it.

Nothing major just a fun quick read.

One thing I liked that he said is that he doesn't get nervous before or during a football game. He's a natural IMO.

Did you check out the comments? The comments are much more interesting that the read itself.

people are awesome. especially those who took the "God had a different path" quote and turned it into "God made me do it".

overall though there weren't that many trolls, could you imagine if the roles were reversed and this was the advocate interviewing a former LSU QB at UGA now.

Mett will lead us to the Promised Land and go down in SEC lore forever. He's on his way to being a southern folk hero.

Not sure how anyone took anything out of context. If God has a different path for him, then God made him do it......

I like how all the posters turned it into a theological debate...I believe God used the situation to get him on a different path...if any of you believe in the bible, it says "what you intended for evil I (God) meant for good."

Have you seen the guy posting stuff like "Jesus is a spiritual teacher and only live for today and not an afterlife"?

Seriously? It's a FOOTBALL INTERVIEW!

Thanks for the link. Dudes a natural leader. Can't wait to see our defense have an offense that is also capable of winning games.

Interesting comments.

quote:

Yeah this one stings because we all know the Mettenberger is slightly better than Murray skill-wise…decision-making is still up in the air. And the whole “God chose this path” part…maybe, maybe not because he works in mysterious ways, but I don’t think making someone else a victim is God’s way of paving a path. Dude is not on our team anymore so we really shouldn’t care too much. How about some interviews with current players please.

quote:

Dont know about the sex charges, but from what i saw, he was better the Murray, while he was here!

quote:

Mettenberger definately beat out Murray in that g-day and I was very disappointed that he was kicked off the team. No, God did not lead Mettenberger to do wrong no more than he led Mr Richt to kick him off the team.

You are pretty uninformed.
The 2011 offense, repeat offense, is #2 in scoring all time according to LSU Media Guide
