Rockets Draft Picks

Looks like the Rockets scored three better draft picks than us, all which were made after us
Lamb will be a better shooting guard than Rivers
Royce White and Terrance Jones both could have filled our void at the 3, White is a stud who can rebound and pass, 10x a better passer than Rivers actually
and to all who say we drafted rivers he will play the point..if we wanted a point guard we should have drafted Marshall, whom is a point guard.

I'm sure I'll be called a negative nancy or whatever, but I was never a big fan of the Rivers pick, and the summer league games are not helping that opinion at all.

You do realize that you are basing your presumptions A) on results from Summer League, and B) by comparing a 19 year old one and done player to 20+ year old guys that played a few years in college. That's like the people saying Lillard is better than Rivers. I personally wanted Lillard more, but that doesn't mean it's reasonable to project the future comparing a seasoned college player like Lillard to an inexperienced one like Rivers.

I think at this point it's impossible to know what rookies will do in the NBA. We're all just blowing air with thumbs up our asses. We don't really know what will happen.

I liked/like Lamb too. Maybe more than Rivers.
The other two are role players who will likely never be starter worthy types.
I'm not huge on Rivers either, but he does offer a certain amount of upside that I'm willing to be patient for.

Yeah, his ability to get by defenders is a good foundation. For those that say he can't be a PG, what's the first thing you think of when you think of Tony Parker's game? I think of him attacking the lane and scoring way more than I think of him as a facilitator. Demps and Monty are trying to rebuild the Spurs.

Lamb is a pure SG. He couldn't play point like Rivers could, which is why we drafted Rivers. Roce White and Jones are 4s, not 3s. You're also judging a 19 year old's career on 2 Summer League games where he's playing a new position. Fail.

Dude. Rivers is going to be a BEAST. I'm tellin u. He's a confident baller who can make plays with the rock! Most importantly, he can split double teams in his sleep, get to the lane and either score, lob it to AD, or kick out to EG10 or Anderson! I mean its been a couple SL games with NO ONE to pass to! i can't wait for this cat to prove all the HATERS wrong!! Some of you guy's talent evaluation is absolutely mind-boggling.
