Purchased a FEMA trailer yesterday for my deer lease. It has a small leak in the roof. What's a good sealant to put on top with a brush or roller? Not looking to redo the entire roof, just a quick fix until we can get a cover built on top of the camper.

Camping stores have specialized products. You can't go wrong reading up on those.

flex seal is the shite. no kidding. but, i would seal it with silicon if you don't trust the flex seal. it's more weather resistant.

Take my endorsement with a grain of salt, as the infomercial is all I know about flex seal.

I would use silicon, but I think I would wait and put it on after you move it and get set up just to be safe. It will dry hard and the camper will flex when pulling it.

I lived in one after Katrina and when our shite leaked we adjusted strappings and untorqued it. I think when they set it up they tightened one side of the back and a front one in a way that it torqued the 'frame' and opened it up along the edges. We adjusted it back and caulked it up. Worked perfect. Our shite was pouring in at the door and in one of the front 'closets'.

make sure you know what material the roof is made of (I know nothing about FEMA trailers, but RVs often have diff roofing material from the sides). Then google to get to a good RV forum. I'll find a link when i get home. If you want it to last and be UV resistant, don't use some junk you buy at Home Depot. Go to CampingWorld and compare prices/shipping with Amazon.

eta: ProFlex and Dicor are of the grade you want to look for.

I painted my deer camper with Dyco sealant. It stopped the leak around the sky light so I painted the entire roof.

They have patch material at RV stores. I used one last year and it has help up pretty good.

until we can get a cover built on top of the camper.
That's the ticket. Until then, maybe a blue roof special?
