I heard about a freshman who will be playing for the Notre Dame Pioneers the other day.....

Supposedly is from Iota and kin to Buford Jordan. 6'6 - 330 lbs. Remains to be seen whether he can play ball or move well enough. Size and genetics are there though. I will try to catch a few games to check him out this year.

What's your son's name?

Really?

That post is almost funny when someone comes on here bragging about a kid no one has a clue about and gets touted as the best player ever.

The OPs post was about the kid's size and bloodlines. He even admitted that he doesn't even know if the kid can play. If you read that as bragging, you have no comprehension skills.

It's obvious that the kid is someone we need to keep an eye out for in the future though.

Even if you're right and he is talking about his son, I have to applaud your strategy. Mocking the parents of future recruits - that'll work wonders for LSU's recruiting!

He's not my son. I am not kin to Buford Jordan, believe you me I would let you know if I was.

I heard about him from a priest at Notre Dame. That is all.

He is definitely someone to keep an eye on in my opinion. I am skeptical of the size for that age we shall see though.

Calm down fellas, he was just getting it out of the way early. It's one of those things that always happens no matter what in these types of threads. It's a giant running joke.

I understand, I'm sorry if I offended you with a comment that was made in jest.

ETA2: Thank you, Flask.

It's kind of boring and repetitive to repeat the same jokes over and over again. Plus it's stupid to try and call out a potential recruits parents in the first place

i know i'm forgetting some, but there are some extremely played out jokes on TD... and the sad part of it is that some people still think they're funny and i'm guessing the first person to reply in this thread is one of those douchebags

If that's a running joke, it's one that needs to end now. Today. It's lame and demeaning. This isn't the SEC Rant.

Wasn't there a Buford Jordan that was a FB for the Saints in the "dome patrol" era? maybe i'm confused but I remember that name for some reason.

Yeah, that's who this kid is supposedly related to. Buford is from Iota and played at McNeese, then for the Saints. Bloodlines are there, he'll be in a good weight program, he's definitely someone to look out for.

How is it demeaning? Being called someone's parent is demeaning? If you think it is lame, that's fine, but demeaning makes no sense. JMO

He will definitely get coached up with Louie Cook running that program. He was my HS coach at Crowley High my sophomore year coming off an 0-22 campaign and his first year there, we went 10-2. He has since won state championships at both CHS and Notre Dame.
