Is it still possible to play online for real money anymore? I used to play on full tilt and poker stars until they shut down. What sites do y'all play on?

you can play on merge, deposit at your own risk.
i think if you just sit and wait we will end up with some compromise that will allow FTP and PS to come back to the states.

im still waiting on my FTP deposit back.

Probably going to take a very long time. I've read that Illinois might start their own online card room which would be huge.

As far as playing online, there's bodog, merge, lock/cake, and America's Cardroom. All are 100% legitimate.

You'd be a moron to deposit to an online site now. Cake got busted didn't they? It's only a matter of time before they go after the Merge Network, and BoDog is the opposite of legitimate it's a horrible sports book.

You're probably best off with 5dimes as far as a sports book and I'd just hold off on any advertised online poker site with payouts to the US until they get this legislation squared away.

Didn't Washington DC start up its own on-line poker for residents in the district?

There are a # of different sites that you can "play for real money" as in you deposit you real money in them, you play, and you might even win, but the chances of you getting your money back out are slim to none, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

I got hung out for $1,300 on FTP. Laws are supposed to be changing soon, but until then. Find a local cash game.
