How Head Coaches are Credited with WINS?

Paterno was at home sleeping during practices, sitting in the press box during games while contributing no comments (often not even wearing a headset), changing his "depends" at half-time (never joining the team in the locker room)...why the hell is he credited with wins the last several years. There should be a standard...be on the sidelines, attend practices, etc. They were literally propping him up at times. And, if you think he was not diagnosed with cancer until after retirement, you are crazy.
Bowden was similar, with the inner circle really running the program, but FSU removed him without a real "scandal" forcing their hand.

Do you think Architects lay brick to build your chimney or Master Chefs stir the gumbo in their restaurant? You don't think old Warren Buffet has people handling his financial deals? But he gets all the credit for being the head of an empire.
It was Paterno's firm/restaurant/empire that he built...every coach in America doesn't have to do the nitty-gritty to get the accolades that everyone in every position at the top gets.

Bowden forfeited 14 games, but he also won games by foreit.
Bowden had 31 wins at Howard, 42 wins at UWV

Paterno, Bowden, and Robinson were all just standing or in Paterno's case sitting there at the end.

The idiot board of trustees and university president allowed this by letting Joe Pa stay at the helm. The more I hear the myopic delusional attitude that they still have even after the Freeh report, the more I think they should axe the football program. Frick Penn State and all the sick pedophilia that they stand for.
