I like their Hoppy Feet, but it's a really strong bite. Prefer Racer 5 and Ruination.

Glad to have their full line now here. But, Whole Foods and Matherne's have had a few of their selections for a while now.

I had previously stocked up at Specs.

"A while now" being since this morning? Trust me, Clown Shoes just shipped to Louisiana last week. They hit shelves today.

I would swear that Whole Foods had at least one Clown Shoe in the big bottle two weeks ago when I was there?

When is Mockler gonna do an agreement with Bear Republic, Russian River, and Oskar Blues?

Bear Republic is here now.

Russian River never will be.

Oskar Blues eventually, but they can barely keep up with production in their current markets. Louisiana is on their list to expand to, but it may be a couple of years.

Bear Republic in the six packs? All lines? I've seen Racer 5 and Hop Rod in 22 oz bottles at Matherne's and WF for years, but not all selections.

For some reason BR doesn't get the 12 oz bottles. Lafayette does though. I'd buy more of it if it was available that way.

Red Rocket, Pete's Brown, and XP Pale Ale all 22 oz so we get like 90% of thoer regular lineup. The only thing i think we dont get is thier stout an seasonals and special releases.

But back to clown shoes. Awesome to see another brewery in the state. How did this one sneak up on us?

From what I understand, it snuck up on Calandro's as well, with then finding out just last week.

Which two or three should I try first?

I don't know. Boo used to bring me Clown Shoes from Houston. Now that Clown Shoes is in LA, we don't need to be nice to him anymore.

I was at the Oskar Blues brewery yesterday . They said they are building a second brewing facility I believe in South Carolina.in the next year to help facilitate the East coast. They hope to make it into Louisiana soon after.
