So wait.. Poxxxx. This movie is out now, like, at theaters?
Posted on 8/6/14 at 11:07 am to FT
Yeah, but not at any theater. You can check Dragonballz.com to see if it's playing at a theater near you. I saw it last night. I want to go see it again tonight.
For those of you who don't know about the movie

I'm in the theater now. Hardly any little kids.

Just got out, will do a full review after I get out of the gym.
Honestly I was expecting more fighting like the Broly movie but it was still one of the best DBZ movies.
Odd hearing cursing and Bulma being drunk.
The ending felt like it was leading to another movie. Which I do hope also hits US theatres.
While waiting everyone was cracking jokes. Most Krillin jokes
The humor worked so much better here then any previous movie. I'm guessing that's do to no restrictions.
Second favorite behind Broly

Mine just got out. We had technical difficulties. On my way to Raising Canes, then home.

I just got out of the theater a little while ago. It.was.awesome. I liked it a lot more dubbed than subtitled. The humor seemed to hit better to me.
A little kid in the theater said, "what's happening?" right at the perfect time when Goku was fighting the blast about to destroy earth and everything went silent right before he transformed again. It was hilarious.

Just got done watching it...pretty impressive. Enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty damn funny.

got out as well. fully packed theater, which was cool to see.
i thought there would be a bit more fighting as well, but a great story, great humor and some cool action. definitely a great dbz movie.
one thing left me curious: power levels/transformations.
it seems this movie just completely ignored any of those rankings thats been discussed over and over here.
vegeta without going ssj3 became stronger than ssj3 goku.
also, i feel like the next movie "hint" about wishing someone to life will probably be the person that Bills referenced as the strongest person he has fought (or at least will be the villain).

I went on the 5th and 6th. The place didn't have an empty seat either night.

Toriyama talked about this is an interview, and said there's going to be a lot more action in next year's film.

Honestly, I think Vegeta will skip SSJ3 altogether. When Goku transformed in to Super Saiyan God, Beerus said his body simply learned from the experience, and now the power is all his (Goku's). At the end, Vegeta said his usual, "next time, it's my turn, Kakarot!" and Goku agreed. So we're certainly left with a lot of question marks.
They showed Vegeta's flashback with Lord Beerus, and King Vegeta, and went back in history again with Frieza and Beerus. I'd love to watch a clip of that meeting go down.

Is the next one also coming out in American theaters
Posted on 8/7/14 at 11:02 am to dawgfan24348
I think we have a while before we hear anything about that. Hopefully attendance was good enough to justify another theatrical release.

i have to believe it was based on what i saw and heard from others. my friends in cali all said it was sold out or nearly sold out

I know people that went to showings in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia. They told me the theaters they went to were all sold out. Even had cosplayers.

it almost felt like they were setting up a new series or at least saga. any rumors on this?
Bills talks about 12 other dimensions and all have these "godly" warriors. seems like thatll be too much to explore in one movie.

Toriyama himself confirmed the movie for next year, but nothing on a new saga.

Yeah, I'm thinking we definitely haven't seen the last of Beerus and Whis. Beerus talked of 12 other universes, some of which spawned even mightier warriors than he and Goku. That is very interestin.

I was in the theater on Tuesday and a guy was trying to record the movie on his phone, let's just say the cops got involved! Does anyone know the penalty for piracy
