A good kicking performance should beat a mediocre qb performance. Shoul a top 3 kicker really score less than a qb that shouldn't be starting that week?

I disagree. You don't think your kicker should receive more points for kicking a 50 yard bomb as opposed to a 20 yard chippy?

i thought that was standard scoring?... 5 for a 50+, 4 for 40-49, 3 for anything less

1. I am 100% for a $50 buy in.
2. I like 2 ways. 500, 100. I am a big proponent of rewarding the winner with a big sum of money. I think 100 bucks is plenty for 2nd place
3. I am ok with 6 to 5 bench slots. Makes free agent pick ups more important throughout the year.
4,5. I like the 2 RB mandatory and would be a fan of dropping the flex position. If we do I am ok then with 6 spots for the bench
6,7,8. PPR is without a doubt the way to go. I think it causes more parody through the league making it more competitive. I really hope we can change to this.
9. Negative points for interceptions and fumbles. (-1) at the most per fumble or interception.
10. Yahoo is a really good one and so is CBSsports. CBSsports is my favorite. But I am good with anything other than ESPN.

Wow. I have to say I'm shocked at the # of you that WANT negative points...
I've never been a fan. I understand that it makes the game more competitive but I just never thought I'd see people saying "yeah, go ahead. take a few points away from me every week. i don't mind."
Every week I hear from friends at work talking about how they could have won games had it not been for their QB getting sacked or throwing an INT. And then, there's always a the chance that you have a QB and Defense playing against each other, starting in your lineup. So your Defense sacks the QB but you end up with no points cause they cancel each other out.
Just my $0.02

That's how I have it set. It actually wasn't standard though. If I remember correctly, when I set up the scoring rules last year I had to change that to the extra points for the longer FG's.

yeah each site is different.. i think its standard on yahoo...
oh and back to the negative pts.. def not for sacks as that is not always the qb's fault.. but fumbles and int's are

Same exact thing happened to me in my other league last year, lost 1 game all year then went out first round due Aaron Rodgers only "bad" game of the year.
ETA: I'm cool with goat joining.
We should probably just keep the league where it is cdaniel, seems there is a lot of hate for espn and I hate yahoo so let's just stick with NFL.
