Completely ignores Kaman. And that Ayon plays Center. But overall, not a bad thought, just a few months late to the "J Smitty should bulk up and play the 5" Party.

That might have something to do with the report that came out that the Hornets have no interest.

He was a Center in Mexico, not in the NBA. Big difference.

And Ayon is 6'10, 250lbs...which is smallish but then again, a 7 footer isn't a requirement ... Oak played around the same size.

They are a much different body type. Ayon can play it in spots, but he is probably better suited to be a PF. I like Smith at Center, for the short term, but we'll upgrade sooner or later. Either that or they will install a rotation of sub-starters. As long as they don't overspend on a guy like McGee..

if that the case then AYON is shortest 6'10" player the driveman has ever seen

Ignoring Kaman is the way it should be.

I like Jason Smith. He made a lot of improvement last season. I don't know if he will ever be a starting caliber player, but he is solid...If he's gonna start though, I say leave him at PF and let Davis play center. wouldn't make much of a difference though

I'm down with it he is serviceable at least for a year

he buys into Monty's system and he is better than whats out there at this point (i.e. Kwame and Turaif )
