Well boys, that's that. Been a nice fun season filled with ups and downs. I'm happy we got the win today, and looking forward to next year!

yes sir, like we said at the beginning... ups and downs
finished a spot higher in the table and scored a boatload of more goals..
The foundation is in place and with a few key signings the quality of this past January (specifically in defense), we can reclaim our rightful place in European competition...
Is this thread retired or do we ride it until August?? I cant remember protocol...

Maybe a new thread for the off-season is in order to discuss all the ridiculous rumors. I can rename this one to the off-season thread, but we'll certainly need a new one come August.
I probably won't start the next one though. I'll let someone else have that honor.

Fun season to watch overall. Took big steps forward IMO which we haven't done in years..
Very entertaining attacking side to watch in 2013. A lot of young talent to come through (7 academy players to be exact) and many new faces. Plus an attractive system to watch.
Need big work on the defense and set pieces. I'll write up an end of the season squad assessment in the next couple days.

I think we all have admitted we're glad that one didn't go down, and we're better off with the players we did get in the winter window. Hopefully we can keep buying smart, not just age and talent wise, but also with players that actually fit in with BR's plans.
