They're rotating the fouler and destroying us in the air.

I just have zero confidence in Gulasci...
That said, there are reports on twitter that Jones is playing with a strained AC joint... which if true, may change things...

The frick is going on here...? Just woke up and it's 2-1 Oldham?

Does change a little but I'd still think about trying to leave Joe Allen there.
Shelvey would have played probably as well as him, but at least I think Jonjo has room for growth and needs to see more PT.

BR needs to make a change because his experiment isn't working!

Gerrard/downing coming on

Coates looks like shite.
He and Robinson need to go on loan bad. Coates looks super flustered. Robinson's settled in a little, but has been caught out of position or outmuscled a few times. Henderson's all over the place busting his arse for this team. Wish I could say the same for everyone else.

Seems like we always draw fricking Rugby teams from the lower leagues in these cup matches... I was worried about an injury in the first half...
Oh well, if there is a silver lining, we can focus on 4th...
Big match on Wednesday, boys and girls... Have to get the three points there!!

Sucks but you can't hold it against them. Sucks.

Not possible

I'm gonna hold on hope for now... these next two fixtures will say a lot about our chances...

We're gonna have to take at least 40 from our final 45 points to give ourselves a realistic shot. Still have Tiny Tots, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton to play.
I'm extremely hopeful and will always remain that way (y'all know that), but realistically we have maybe a 10% chance at 4th.

Just gonna move the discussion out of that FA cup thread.
Coates needs a loan move if he has any future at LFC. He's a good player, but months in between appearances does nothing for his development.

I hope BR runs Robinson until he keels over after his antics today. When we're down a goal with only a few minutes left and you recklessly fire a shot instead of giving Suarez a chance for the easy tap-in, then have the audacity to tell Suarez to frick off... No excuse for that.
Posted on 1/27/13 at 12:20 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
yeah, I agree... if he stays he has to be loaned out... He needs to get back to the form he was showing with Nacional and Uruguay in 2011...
I'm sure he wants to start getting a good run of games, because of the WC in a year and a half..

Our youngsters have a lot to learn.
Sterling was largely shite and nearly got himself sent off.
Robinson is a good talent, but he is raw and his decision making needs to improve. There is no excuse for hitting a volley in stoppage time instead of putting the ball in the box where there is a world class striker.
Coates was simply atrocious in nearly every aspect of the match.
Joe Allen is outmatched when playing rugby teams. Rodgers needs to have better foresight in that regard.

yeah, was shocked Robinson went for goal... and then told Suarez to frick off, when he got in his ear...
Sterling should have finished his chance, too.. Borini, Sturridge, Downing, Sterling and possibly Coutinho and Ince... should light a fire under some asses for those other 2 spots...
And on a side note... I will say that Sturridge did show more technical ability on the ball than I knew he had... I'm still excited for this partnership..

Sturridge looked good. That one turn he had got me out of my seat.
Downing can frick off IMO. I know he's been better lately, but I just absolutely hate watching him play
