Today I found a recipe for an Asian marinade for salmon, it went like this:
6 tbsp olive oil( I used canola it was the only thing I had)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp Garlic
1 tbsp honey
Chili flake use your own amount depending on how hot you like it.
My god it was awesome!!! It could definitely transcend into other protein realms chicken, beef you name it.
Anywho just thought the food board should know about this gem, carry on!!!!!!!!

Substituting sesame oil is the correct answer.

Sounds like Alton Brown's tuna marinade...(which is delicious by the way)
