Anyone know of someone around New Orleans that can make custom smokers? Am looking to get something that has a side smoke box. TIA

This is the second time I've posted about smokers today. Have you considered a pellet smoker?

Trailer mounted? Box or pipe? How big?
How much you looking to spend?

It is for my backyard. I have a grill that was made, but it doesn't have a side box. I would prefer pipe style and being able to cook in the side box also. Mine now is a box that is 30x18, so I would like one that is 36x20.

Get bigger than you think you need...talking length. Also, I'd recommend a 24" diameter...a full racks of ribs (and/ or brisket) will fit, front to back, without a problem and will allow enough room for a top rack to be installed and utilized. A full sized pan will also fit on the bottom rack. 1/4" thick steel will get up to temps and stay there. I don't know a custom builder in Baton Rouge but I do know some in Texas...I can post if rules allow. A pic of my pit...although not as pretty, today, as it used to be (these builders do back yard pits, as well.....

I forgot about the ad rules, lol. Here is my email mgrgmr@msn.com. The 36x20 is plenty big for me. Like I said, mine now is 30x18 and it does the job. Just wanted something slightly bigger.
