Hotels in College Station? Any ideas?

Theres a holiday inn express in a town called Hearne which is about 20 minutes from college station. The town is awful but the hotel is new and pretty nice and its a short commute to college station.

I will be at the Econo Lodge on University Drive if that helps....... wait.....that probably doesn't help you at all.

A&M friends in Dallas suggest that you rent a house for the weekend. Apparently, many folks rent their homes for the weekend. Check your normal internet sites for postings.

Bryan is booked too, its the same city at CS.
your best bet is to book something along I45 from Madisonville to Huntsville, maybe even Conroe. It will be anywhere from a 30-60 minute drive but better than nothing
