It never fails that i reach 120+ pitches in a game. It's due to numerous batters throughout the game running me up to 7, 8, 9 10+ pitch at bats. They foul off EVERYTHING! It's maddening. Any tips?

Dial down the "foul" slider.

do you find yourself pitching to the corners and just off the plate more trying to get the strikeout? I seem to have a little better luck with trying to pitch to contact to save my pitch count vs trying to make a perfect pitch to get a k.

i mean everything. High fastball, foul. outside breaking pitch, foul. Hard slider down and away, foul. inside fastball, foul. It incites rage man.

yeah RTTS pitcher is a power pitcher. I try to work the corners and down in the zone. Fastball, Slider, Change Up, Curveball. I get plenty of K's, this is really the only aspect of the game i find unrealistic. No way a guy fouls off 6 pitches of different varieties, locations, speeds etc etc.

yep, same thing happens to me. I usually just get sick of it and throw a change up (or whatever offspeed pitch is working for me) in an obvious strike location catching more of the plate and I'll usually get them to make contact for an out.

a 99 MPH fastball down the middle gets the out more often than not, either a K or a ground ball. it's just frustrating, didn't know if i was doing something wrong.

You have to go fast high, slide low away ,change inside , fast high.

Two seam high inside works alot

This. Throw a fastball with a little run up and in and they can't touch it with two strikes. Curve balls are ridiculously hard for me to throw strikes with.

I give up tryin to throw the hook for strikes.

Slurve or circle change work 10x better.

the deuce is hard to throw for strikes. it usually hits the dirt. i've been considering dropping it for a splitter. Haven't tried the 2 seam fastball. Use the 4 like a boss.

The only time I'll throw a curve is in an 0-2 or 1-2 count and only to the inside of a right handed hitter. If I can hit the inside corner, they almost always look at it, but it's definitely never a consistent pitch.

First of all I have the pitch speed all the way up.

Any fastball 94+ is boss.

Two seam is sick

And the cutter is a great groundball/outside corner strikeout pitch.

Yeah velocity is all the way up. Consistently in the 97+ range. Change up hits 88-89, Slider at 90 lol. Just ridiculous stuff.

Here is my pitch sequence.

Fastball- low away-strike one
Split- low (in for right, out for left)so it drops out of zone
If 0-2-forkball low away out of zone to right
slider-low away to lefty
If 1-2-Fastball up and in to either right or left
If 2-2-split-see second pitch
If 3-2-Fastball up and in )still in the zone
Forkball down away in the zone
I average about 9-12 k's a game and will throw a complete game if they don't score a run in the last two innings

I usually stick to a pattern also. Fastballs in tight, sliders and change up's away. Strike out pitch is a tailing slider down and away to righties, down and in to lefties or fastball on the corner. Average 10-12 k's a game and pitch a complete game 9 times out of 10. Just with really high pitch counts. Like 120+, probably 15 to 20 of those are foul balls.
