How can Davis win ROY but not be on the All-Rookie 1st Team?

Hornets #10 pick: I'll go with underdog Terrence Ross, who will play the 3 in crunch time.

2012-13 ROY: I'll go with Davis, but I think Beal will put up about 17ppg as the primary scorer in Washington.

All Rookie: Zeller
Davis
MKG
Beal
Lillard

Best 2nd rounder: Wroten sneaks into the 2nd round

Best PER: Rivers
Zeller (most NBA ready)
Sullinger (though I'd definitely prefer TRob, I thikn Sully will drop to a much better team and be more efficient)

Davis's stat line:
13.5pts, 10reb, 2 assists, 2.75blocks, 2 TOs, 53% shooting

ETA: I started writing this before your Ross post came up, swear I wasn't copying.

Yeah, looks shady, but I had a thread a while back where I mentioned he was my 2nd favorite potential pick @ 10 behind Drummond, who is obviously a bit of a long shot to be there.

Ross is athletic, good defender, and has great range. He'd be a bit undersized at the 3, but I think a 2/3 tweener is much more valuable for us than the 1/2 tweeners that everyone is pulling for us to draft. The guy seems pretty underrated to me and gives us one of the biggest things we're missing (a legit 3rd option alongside Gordon and JJ).

To the people saying Davis makes the 1st team as a Center...

No...just no.

That's not what I meant to suggest. I just thought Davis and TRob will have much better seasons than any true Center. But that's what you asked for though, so my bad.

Edit to my original answer: Scratch TRob, add Zeller.

Kenneth Faried was the "Center" for this year's all rookie team. They just put 5 guys on there with little concern for position.
