What ever happened to him and is he gonna qualify for London?

Has Trindon stuck with football or is he running professionally?

I remember when he kneeled on the 1 yard line on a kickoff return while playing Georgia back in 04.

I didn't see him on any roster on the Olympic Trial website. Looks like he didn't qualify for trials. I don't really keep up with track or him though, so I don't know why. Looks like a bust in track, but I have no idea.

It was in the ESPN Not Top ten. I forgot which rank it was, though.

One of the most overrated in recent memory, unfortunately. I wish him the best wherever he is.

You don't really think anyone would try the search function or google a subject before coming to the Rant?

At the 2005 NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship he finished second in the 200 m finals with a time of 20.08 s.

At the same event the following year, Carter won national titles in four events and became the first person to do so since Jesse Owens accomplished the feat twice in 1935 and 1936.[5] He was also the first athlete ever to win both the 100 m and 400 m events on the same day.

Apparently he got hurt and could not continue in track. Since then, he has racked up at least 2 felony gun charges:

quote:

TAMPA -- Former Palm Bay High and Louisiana State University track star Xavier Carter, who made history by winning four titles at the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Championships, was arrested early Monday morning in Tampa on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and failure to accept a traffic citation. The 24-year-old Carter, who competed in the 2008 Olympic trials, was arrested by Tampa police near Fowler and Nebraska avenues at 3:27 a.m. Monday and released on a bond of $3,250. It's not clear why Carter, known in track circles as "X-Man," was in Tampa because there have been no reports of him training in the area. While training in Gainesville in fall 2008, Carter was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. That time, police said they stopped Carter for playing his car stereo too loudly. When officers approached his car, they said they saw a loaded .40-caliber handgun in the map pocket in the driver's-side door.
