Now I understand this was just a friendly, but it does show what this current Portuguese side is capable of. Worst spanish loss since 1968. Also Cron scores one of the prettiest goals of his career (imo) that was disallowed because Nani headed it in after it was already in the goal.

Both of the sides were very similar to who is playing tomorrow and makes me feel better, also everyone really needs to at least watch the Cron goal at around the 1:40 mark

I predict we'll see an epic amount of whining and pouting from Mr Ronaldo.

Ray, tommorrow the ball will be white, and the match will be official.

Except for Arbeloa, Torres, and a possible Ramos brain fart, me no worry mucho.

Why exactly is that not a goal? Ball didn't touch the ground but it seems to have crossed the goal line?? Obvious goal is obvious, I'm just ignorant to the rule I suppose

I was actually about to add that he hasn't been diving all that much in this tournament. Unless he just saves all that for when he plays for barcelona.

Still a shitty call. Ball was over the line when Nani made contact, although it was really retarded to even make it close.

Come on Dandy let me have my hopes for another few hours

Gotcha, this is what I figured as I see people mess with the ball after it goes in all the time. Also did the ball actually cross the goal line on cr7's shot? Seems like I ran FIFA I would change that aspect of offsides if the ball is already in the goal. Nevertheless nani is a tard for doing that. I didnt know it was illegal but I'm also not a pro footballer

I was about to ETA my Ramos brain fart, and add Piqué, but let's face it, he's started rocky but has been shorin' it up.

Hard to tell but it looked like it may have.

Nani would not have been called offsides if the ball had already crossed the line, it would have simply been a goal.

Thanks that's where I was lost, I thought for sure if it crossed the line (and the refs acknowledged it) that it would be a goal. So bad lack of goal line technology ruling on the field is to blame, not an offsides player touching the ball in net.

I think Portugal is going to win. Bruno Alves and Pepe have been great and CR7 and Nani are going to be difficult for Alba and Arbeloa.
