Reggae influenced rock driven by HEAVILY distorted guitar?

Similar to some of Sublime's stuff. But is this a specific genre and if so what are some bands? That is, more specific than "reggae rock" which seems to encompass a lot more than what I'm talking about, if at all. There's a local band that plays this style, but I've never caught their name somehow.

Here's one of the only examples I can think of off the top of my head (that whole album really):

I think you're looking for dub influences from what I'm seeing. Dub Trio is amazing. Instrumental band. Dub meets progressive rock and melts faces.

Other dub-influenced bands:

Bad Brains
NOFX
No Doubt
Rx Bandits

Thanks. That seems to be pretty close to what I'm looking for.

Forgot about Bad Brains. Haven't listened to them in years.
