Sea star vs bay star hydraulic steering help?

I am going order my new boat tomorrow and getting the 150 Yamaha 4 stroke on it but I am going back and forth on what type of steering to get. Bay star Is for up to a 150 hp while the sea star is for 150 on up. The price difference is over $500 and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the bay star on a 150hp? I didn't want to add over $500 to price of the boat if I didn't need to. Thanks

Negotiate the deal to get the beefier system and pay the same. They're not going to lose the sale of a new boat for $500.

Wise words above, What kind of rig you getting? In the market for one myself and on the fence on buying a new one or waiting out for a nice used one to pop up
