How much of the items they find are planted by the production crew, themselves or whomever?

Also, I predict a Barry spin off soon... very soon.

All of it. Would you not pay $30 rent or whatever for a room that had $10,000 worth of stuff in it?

Do you know anyone who has done this and lost their tail off? Hard to sell decades old destination t-shirts i.e. Orlando, Las Vegas or the like.

They pick two or three lockers and go through them first to see if there is a "show" there

then they set up the auction for the cameras with the four main groups only allowed to bid on those lockers. that is why you see all those other people standing around, they aren't allowed to bid on the lockers featured on the show

then the auction with the four groups starts and the rest of the show is crafted around the winner digging through the locker and finding something "amazing"

one of the funniest shows from last season was the one where darrell won a locker, found some shitty oil panting in it and then immediately "discovered" a couple hundred bucks taped to the inside of the back of the picture

I'm not contending the show isn't real, because it clearly isn't.

But, I have seen other random "bidders" on certain sheds. But that could be easily explained as being production members, etc.

Even still, the show is entertaining IMO.

I agree and believe its staged, but they never find anything really all that good. its always a let down.

if theyre gonna rig the lockers then put something really valuable in them. frick!

this. or the month before when you realized you were having money troubles you would go take the little small $5,000 vase out of it before it got taken from you

the whole premise of the show is stupid
