Their was an interesting read about making extra money powerwashing houses a while back, but I cannot find it. If someone posted in that topic can you give me a link?
It may have been on the money talk board but i think it was here.

In short, is it a good money-maker? Dos and Donts?

Man I came close to buying a pressure washer and starting up a sideline for the summer. I think there's a lot of opportunity to make some good money and set your own hours.

I got scared when I started reading about "if they have lead paint", water damage, etc.

Also, there are certain chemicals for concrete vs. vinyl. Read up. I'd found a pressure washing forum but didn't save the link. Maybe hit a search.

my neighbor had the same idea, bought one of them fancy pressure washer trailers. It just sits there. Dont think he gets that much business.

My cousin did it for a while, he got a decent bit of business for a side business, he also cut grass on the side though so it take a whole lot to keep him busy. Did a lot of driveways, had all the attachments and shite for that. He had a couple kids and got a new job and quit doing it

I know someone who did it for a little while...but gave it up. Too hard on your body...and anything that comes in contact with the chemicals you use. I don't think the effort is worth the money.
