Dynamite or rotenone. If not that, frog over duckweed or large tube to trees. good luck

Either a wacky worm or a jig works pretty good. Colors i use are watermelon red, black n blue flake, and green pumpkin. I haven't been in bout a month. I probably wouldn't fish south because of the fresh water. That's where the bayou runs into the lake.Good luck...

Good luck. It's a tough lake to fish and watch out, they have a slot limit.

The duckweed that had practically taken over that lake is non-existent. At least it was in January. I haven't been since then.

Wacky Worms work the best for me when bass fishing. And the good thing is, they're not expensive.

I always preferred Miller's lake to Chicot. It has been a lonnnng time since I fished there. I generally just keep going north until I hit the bend.

my Ville Platte buddy says that by May/June all the bass in Chicot are either in freezers or in someones sewer system. They fish them out early.

I've had luck with trick worm rigged jerkbait style, in mixed grass and pulling over duckweed.
