2012.

Was 2013, but instead of doing a post grad year, decided to go ahead and go to college.

this is cool. i know nothing about this guy but there's a real energy around LSU BkB that hasn't been there in years. even when Brady had some good years, it was kinda like being in a marriage of convenience. i may actually start thinking about going to games again.

Cincinnati, Ole Miss, UMass, UCF and VT offers

Guess he's a combo 1/2 guard?

2012 I believe. Rivals has him there and 24/7 has him as a 2013 kid. He's one of those that had a chance to move up and graduate early.

looks like he's around 6'2 which is good size at the college level. only watched a couple vids but he's got pretty good range and likes to pull up and shoot from around 20 ft and out. seems like he could play both spots in college. actually kind of reminds me of a (hopefully) more composed bo spencer.

good signing IMO.

He's supposed to be really good. Having a great summer and would have moved up in the 2013 rankings and probably been a 4 star with some solid offers. The 2012 rankings are closed, however, so he will probably be unranked in 2012. He was a 3-star for 2013.

He's a combo guard and can play the 1 and the 2. Will be a good backup for Hickey, while also playing shooting guard.

This is a quote from his coach:

quote:

"He is a fine kid," said Coach Clement. "Fundamentally is the most sound kid I have had. Corban has a pro mid-range game. And he is a 6'3" point guard. It is all about his intelligence. Does he want to get 10-15 points a game or will he set up guys?"

I know that not every thread has to relate back to Johnson's ineptness recruiting, but it really is remarkable when you consider what Jones has done in 3 months

Sidebar: this is coming from someone who staunchly defended Johnson for a long time and who was initially opposed and unimpressed with the Jones hire.

Yeah you really were a bad LSU basketball fan for a period. Happy to see you back supporting this team again.
