Are there still any tax incentives for making energy efficient improvements to your home? Specifically replacing windows that the seals are broken?

TIA

Not sure. I took advantage of a tax break and put new windows in my house back in '10. They look and operate but nicer. Had Southern Home Improvement do the work and was very happy.

Not to steal your thread but what about any first time homebuyer tax credits this year?

First time home buyer credit expired 2 years ago. As for credit for energy efficent products or updatyes to your home, the max in 2011 was $500, I think it is the same for 2012. The catch is that if you have taken these credits in any previous years (500 or over) you get nothing.
