Up to .297

It's pretty amazing. He's getting better every game. Most young rookies fade after a month or so.

He and Lombardozzi are killing it at the top of the Nats lineup. All-rookie 1-2 spots for WAS delivering.

We so staaaaaaaacked son. Gonna own the NL East for the next ten years, boys.

Doing it the right way too....hard work. Lombo is the hardest working guy around.

With Detweiler back in the pen and Lannon doing deec in AAA, it won't be CATASTROPHIC when Stras gets shut down, but its also why I do not expect the Nats to make any sort of postseason run.

Regardless, 6-3 over TOR. 14 hits. Curly W.

I'm just as big of a Nats fan as anyone, but to say we're going to take the NL East for ten years?!

Come on, man!

I was being facetious. Calm down bud.

Feels good to have a squad worth talking about, though.

Well everybody talks about the Redskins the first five weeks of the season too

If we're still rolling after the All-Star break I'll get excited. But it is fun as shite to troll the ATL thread when they have to face Stras/Gio back to back.

Lets be honest, there should be an asterisk... he got to face Red Sox pitching

Seriously though, I'm very impressed with the kid. I was a fricking moron when I was 18/19.

Yeah I remember 05 very well, we CRUMBLED after the all star break, but this team has SICK pitching, and we still have Storen coming back. Phillies reign of terror is over in my opinion. Gonna be the Nats/Braves/Marlins running shite for the next few years. Can't stop laughing at Desmond and Espy basically switching roles this year.

I feel like the Nats staff is good enough to keep them in the hunt all season. They really have spent money in the right places over the last two seasons.

What Harper is doing is nothing short of phenomenal. I expect him to definitely have a few games worth talking about this year, but with him it seems like he rises to the competition, I can't remember anything like it in my lifetime, other than maybe Griffey Jr. I wonder if Harper will be the hero of millions of kids like Griffey was for my generation.

So Strasburg is getting shut down again at some point this year?

I barely pay attention to baseball fwiw.
