Just don't get it. He has decent power, decent glove and makes clutch hits. How was this guy not drafted? I know he struggles against off speed pitches but everyone in this lineup does too.

50 Ks and have you seen him in center?

Hopefully it motivates him even more next season.

I would have to guess slow bat speed. He doesn't really have a position, but that hasn't stopped people from being drafted before. So my guess is that they just don't think he's any more than a good college hitter.

Yea, I know he's not the best CF in the world but he isn't terrible at 1st base...IMO.

I know he strikes out a lot too but I mean not drafted? That just seems a little harsh.

You used the word decent and that is correct.

He said he was staying here unless he got drafted in rounds 10-15, and once they passed, teams realized there was no point in drafting him if we wouldn't leave.

same thing with Alex Bregman, he said he had to be drafted certain round or he was headed to LSU.

Because he ends too many at bats like this.

He needs to find a position and stop striking out before MLB teams consider a run at him.

he's not a CF. Do people not realize he plays there because the coach wanted him to? Not because he thinks he is great at it or anything.

He is a corner OF or a 2B potentially.

It's a sham he didnt get drafted. He is a top 20 round talent.

do you realize how many players worse than him are drafted?

he was one of the 15 best players in the SEC; the best conference in America.

No, how many? Because they WERE drafted.

I am not saying he sucks, not at all. I think he is the third best player on our roster. But I don't see him playing pro ball

him giving a team an ultimatium is the only reasonable explanation that he wasnt drafted.

will he play in the majors? who knows. But he is most definitely a kid that is taken in the top 20 rounds

Lester, I know he is a great kid and all that, but he is way slow by MLB standards (other deficiencies too). He is not a MLB prospect by any means IMO.

That's exactly my thoughts. I think it's a little harsh he didn't get drafted...
