He was safe at first, but then slid off of the bag, when the second tag was applied

Runner awarded second base on walk ,then came off bag and tagged out,good call IMO bad break for us but correct call.

I must have missed something as well. Wasn't it a walk? Why Was he called out?

Once he touched the base, the walk was complete

Him getting off the base was like taking a lead

It was a walk but they say he was tagged while off the bag so he was out. Crazy play.

So I guess it's just convienient that the umps don't have to call a ball till after the play is made at 2nd. Do your fricking job and inform the runner it's ball 4.

I'll be honest, I like to consider myself pretty knowledgeable about rules, but once ball 4 is awarded, the play is dead. Nothing is live.

This whole coming off the bag thing is new to me. I mean, couldn't they just tag him between basepaths?

I'm completely ignorant here. WTF.

Ump should've called no play and awarded the base. Guy behind the plate was lazy on the walk.
