With the players coming back and incoming freshman, we will be favored to win the SEC and should be preseason top 5. I'm not even counting on Gallo making it to campus.

I think one of the big keys is who will fill in on the left side of the infield. Hanover and Nola were both valuable assets in the field and both will be missed.

Regardless, with minimal losses outside of Gausman, this team is stacked for next season.

I'd like to know how UF and USC did in the draft.

Weekend rotation?

Nola
Eades
McCune?

Do you give one of the freshmen a chance on the weekend right away?

USC will be REALLY good next year, count on it. They had the most freshmen on the all-freshman SEC team.

UF is taking a step back, no other way to put it. They lose pretty much everyone that's good.

Bap I was talking to my coworker who is a big Florida fan. They are losing a lot to the draft. Zunino Tucker Rodriguez, Johnson, possibly Randall and Whitson. They are had 2 recruits drafted very early and both said they were going.

Those are big names, and I dont think UF has the talent behind those guys to top LSU

Good question Broski. I'm not sure who will be our Sunday starter.

1st-Katz
2nd-Bregman
SS-Jones
3rd-Yocum
C-Ross
Rymes/Fields/Scambria in the outfield
DH-Snickeris/Slaid
Friday-McCune
Saturday-Nola
Sunday-Eades

That's just my opinion and honestly I wish I knew more about our depth bc I'm sure a sleeper will come alive like every year under Paul.

We had a junior college RHP signee drafted in the 18th round, Will Lamarche. But I think he will be a reliever.

I don't think McCune will factor into the rotation. Broussard is probably ahead of him. That being said Bourgeois definitely could factor back into the weekend rotation after the year he had and the guy we tried to groom this year into a future weekend starter - Cody Glenn...might finally step up.

There's also a couple more pitcher signees who could factor in.

Yeah Fields might be done after this year at LSU. Geonte Jackson could be the CF of the future.

Yea I agree. I think Fields is going to be given an ultamatium. He obviously has the potential as he showed earlier this season, seems like more of a head thing with him.

He is going to have to either show out the rest of this tournament or turn heads in the fall to keep his spot. The guy has talent, he was drafted in the 27th round prior to coming here...he just hasn't got his stuff together this year. He had that short spurt of showing what he CAN be, but that's not enough.
