They basically conceded their ace last night to keep some arms fresh and one guy went 8 2/3 today. They still have a pretty fresh bullpen.

Doubt Nola goes tomorrow my friend. Maybe limited relief. It'd be McCune.

We stacked.

Beavers fricked.

Didn't even capitalize.

Nah, if we go again, Nola will get the nod, Mccune has struggled and if you lose saving Nola is for naught.

Yeah, I don't see Nola for tomorrow. He went 8 innings Friday.

What do you think we will do in Omaha? You guys really want to out the season on McCune?

Freshman arm on two days rest. Chance of injury. Maybe an inning relief.

Nola going tomorrow is how you destroy arms.

And it's not even like he threw 70 or 80 pitches, he threw 118.

There is literally a 0% chance he would start tomorrow.

It's not a matter of putting the season on McCune's shoulders. It's a matter of not risking Nola's arm. He threw a lot of pitches on Friday. Based on our recent past with Tommy John injuries, neaux way can we pitch this young man.

Good thing is that we won't find out. THIS ENDS TONIGHT!!!
