Anyone in the medical professions do these? If so, which agency/site do you use? I'm looking for a way to earn some extra money in my downtime. I've heard it is an easy thing to do but also seems like an easy way to get scammed. Thanks in advance.

I did a few years ago. Generally, they'll find you as I have never had to look for an agency. Phone or online surveys are okay, the payment for focus groups never seemed appropriate for the time lost to the interview and/or travel. I never got scammed although some were very slow to pay.

That said, be sure to check your organization's code of conduct, privacy policy and ethical standards before getting involved. Our Risk Management Dept essentially forbid us from being involved a few years ago.

I do surveys on this site. it works like a credit card rewards program...you get points each month for doing the surveys. They have things ranging from clothes to electronics to golf stuff to pick from, and it probably only takes up about an hour of my time in a month.
