Was anyone else a little nervous before the 7th inning?

Got to give ULM credit. They played hard.

Not nervous a bit. I'm ashamed to say I forgot the game was on. When I tuned in I heard the final score first.

I wasn't nervous because the team was hitting the ball hard, just right at guys in the outfield. I knew that they would finally break through. Yes, ULM did play really hard, though. Thankfully we had brothers Nola. What else can you say about Aaron Nola, 10 K, no walks, 4 hits. WOW

I was good with either team winning. I went to ULM and have two kids at LSU. If ULM won, that would probably have been the extent of their success in this tourney as LSU would have eventually avenged a loss. My hat is off to the Warhawks and enjoyed the game. NOLA is one impressive freshman, can't wait to cheer the tigers on to Omaha!

I wasn't nervous until the top of the 7th when ULM rallied. That 4-6-3 was very nice!

Zeigler was a beast last night. He got a well deserved Standing "O" when he walked to the dugout.

Tiger fans are classy.

Yes a little. I was out ad didn't get to watch the game. Came on here to check the score. When it got late and was still tied, I checked more frequently! Lol

Unlike La Tech, Tulane, and ULaLa, ULM knows their place in the state and that is why they get some respect on this board.

This play turned the game around. We scored rigt after that. If ULM scores it might have been different. Momentum.

...yeah, I was getting nervous. And the folks sitting around me were too... 1 weak base hit - ONE - going into the 7th not exactly encouraging. But , I was semi-confidently warily sorta hopeful we would get our usual 3 runs and go to our pen to save it .. But yessir , time was running out for us to put up those 3 runs... When we got to 4 runs, I was ALL_RIGHTEE - we got this in the bag now , fer sure !!!

I was nervous in the bottom of the sixth when we had runners on first and second with no outs and Manieri didn't bunt them around. He bunted with a runner on first and Ziegler booted the play. Another bunt and we have runners on second and third with one out. Instead he lets the hitters swing and Ziegler retired the nest three batters.

Makes me crazy when college coaches ignore Baseball 101. ULM came out of that inning with momentum and almost rallied in the seventh. Double play ball saved Manieri from a lot of hard questions.

I like Manieri BUT he ignores baseball 101 time and time againg. There is nobody on this team that is not above bunting runners over in that situation. Katz and Rhymes included.

Oh RrrllyyYY?

You're going to have Rhymes fricking BUNT?????

I don't care if he's been on a pseudo-slump for him the past few games.

You don't have someone with close to a .500 season batting average fricking bunt.
