I don't frequent HT much, & This isn't a flame JJack thread, bc I think he's a solid player, but I heard Legler on ESPN radio last night say something along the lines of us being like 20-something mill under the cap, so why not take a shot at Deron Williams??? Or has he made it clear he only wants to go to a few teams?
If that doesn't work, I wouldn't mind grabbing Kendall Marshall. After all the pieces are in place, this team could challenge for top 4 in the West IMO..

I personally LOVE Jack. He is a great team captain and he is passionate about this team. I don't understand why people wanna trade/ replace him.. it's not like he doesn't put up decent numbers.

We have $20m because we haven't re-signed Gordon yet nor have we signed Davis or the #10 pick.
We've got closer to $5-7m to play with.

They lied. We only have that much committed to salary next year but all that free money is pretty much already committed to resigning Gordon and signing the 2 rookies. We'll either be slightly below the cap or just barely over without doing something with Ariza or Okafor. Unless something happens with one of those 2 the MLE will probably all we'll have for Free Agency.

he was great last year and he is at worst a very solid backup. it also helps he can play the two in a pinch.

i would love that we can trade them okafor and 10th overall pick so doc can draft his son. According to Espn trade machine the trade will work
