so how could he commit? he either is or isnt. Not one person can contact the coaching staff and ask? Just noticed he wasnt listed as one on any other site than espn.

Cliff Notes:
He committed on his Twitter account. 247 called his coach and confirmed that he committed. However, the coaching staff said that the offer wasn't committable until he came to campus.

If coaches can't talk publicly about recruits, how can they confirm commitments to media?

For LSU, you're likely absolutely correct. Do think that the info comes from LSU, just under the veil of anonymous source. Other schools have direct lines to coaches though. A couple of Texas sites do for sure.

Texas uses their recruiting sites to actually recruit players, and also to spread propaganda about programs they see as a threat.

So is he in the same boat as Rashard Robinson? Wants to commit but is having to wait all while still receiving other offers?!

Taylor and Robinson's situations are similar in that they have to come to camp to earn their spot, but the circumstances are a bit different.
Robinson is competing with other guys for a corner spot. Taylor isn't necessarily competing with other RBs for an offer, he's got a spot if he can show enough progression from his injury.

some guys with offers are coming in next week. I think like parker and tezeno. do you think we will find out then or will they be forced to come back in july. anyone know if adams is june or july. I believe robinson is july.
